The Valaistu Caravan

Commanded by Morrigane Dylan, the caravan seems like a regular caravan, doing trades around the road from Waterdeep to Athkatla.

The caravan routinely hires wandering heroes and - unbeknownst to them - tests their mettle and their morals through mercenary missions.

The caravan is actually a secret operation ran by the Valaistu. Its agenda is to identify potential participants willing to help them in their fight against the Court of the Final Might.

Through the caravan, our heroes battled the patchwork dragon - unknowingly confirming activity from the Court of the Final Might and validated the powers Oracle by battling the zombie of Aararlo to recover the corpse Lady Adelinde's lost husband.

When Morrigane told them of the caravan's agenda, the heroes eventually agreed to help… motivated mostly by their quasi-involvement in liberating the patchwork dragon and out of curiosity towards the Oracle.
